Canvas, timber and a real bed
Each safari tent stands on its own raised wooden deck under old acacias. The canvas walls roll up and the front opens onto the veranda.
Inside there is one large bed or twin beds, power outlets and Starlink WiFi. An extra bed can be added for a third guest, which makes the tents the right choice for small families.
Your private veranda
The veranda in front of each tent has a table and chairs and looks out into the bush. It is the place for a morning coffee, an afternoon in the shade with binoculars or a glass of wine before dinner in the boma.
The tents have no fans. The camp sits about 20 m above the river, and the tents have large ventilation nets that let the air through and keep insects out.
Ensuite bathroom and outdoor shower
Every tent has a private ensuite bathroom and an open-air shower on a wooden deck behind the tent. The walls are high enough for privacy; above you there is only sky and acacia branches.
A shower under the trees after a dusty day in the park is one of the small pleasures of a stay.
Full board from the camp garden
Full board is included in every tent rate: breakfast, lunch and a three-course dinner in the open-air boma, freshly prepared by our chef. Water, tea, coffee and soft drinks come with meals; drinks from the bar are charged separately.
Herbs, salads and vegetables come from the camp’s own garden. There are Western and local dishes with vegetarian and non-vegetarian choices every day; tell us about allergies when you book.
Booking a safari tent
Naledi Camp has three safari tents and one treehouse, for a maximum of 8 guests. You can book a single tent, several tents for a group, or the entire camp for your party alone.
Check-in is from 15:00, check-out until 10:00. A 20% deposit secures your booking; the balance is due 14 days before arrival, and cancellation is free until 60 days before arrival. Paying the full amount in advance by bank transfer earns an additional discount on accommodation and is non-refundable.

How many people fit in one safari tent?
Standard occupancy is two guests, in one large bed or twin beds. An extra bed can be added for a third guest. For four or more, book two tents or combine tents with the treehouse.
Do the tents have their own bathroom?
Yes. Each tent has a private ensuite bathroom and its own open-air shower on the deck behind the tent.
Is the camp suitable for families?
Yes. A safari tent takes up to three guests, so a family of three fits in one tent, and families or small groups can book the entire camp for up to 8 guests. Children up to 12 years receive 20% off accommodation; tell us their ages when you book and we apply the discount when we confirm. Please note that the camp is unfenced, and every guest signs our liability waiver before arrival.
Do the tents have electricity, WiFi and fans?
The tents have power outlets and Starlink WiFi. There are no fans; the camp sits about 20 m above the river and the tents have large ventilation nets.
What is the difference between a tent and the treehouse?
The treehouse sits in the acacia canopy above the riverbed with its own viewing deck and sleeps two. The tents stand on lower wooden decks under the trees, have a private veranda and an outdoor shower, and can take a third guest on an extra bed.
